25683, simple oil leak check turns into 1g job Posted by nappyjim, Jun-21-02 03:10 AM
edit: his enter on accicdent, lol.
anyway, my car has had a real small oil leak so my dad tells me to take it into the shop while i still am under warranty. Anyway, I didnt get all the details, but they said my head or something was too big and that was causing the oil to leak. So they hadda take it off, send it to a shop to get made smaller somehow. Well 2 weeks and 1g later i got my car back, and guess what, its still leaking!! Is this maybe just excess oil....should i wait a few days and see if it goes away, or what?
Also, i got my trans flushed with some new shit they have. My dad says its better than the old way they used to change ur trans fluid cause this machine gets EVERYTHING out. Anway, my car seems to shift (auto) much more smoothly.

Dude, where was your leak coming from. Mine has a leak where the engine bolts to the tranny. It leaks on the exhaust, and makes it stinky. I'm getting ready to take it in.
