ok, im looking at buying a 1995 eclipse, but unfortunately it has 130,000 miles, what would be a good and acurate price for me to offer. once i buy it im going to put a new engine in it. oh yeah, shes asking 5,000

I definatly think 5K is way too much for a 95 w/ 150K miles. I would personally offer $3700 . And make sure she got the timing belt changed twice. Walk away if she didn't. A lot of shit can go wrong with a car with 150K on the odometer. It all depends on the condition.. how is the tranny, how is the interior/exterior how are thr tires, etc... And anyway, you'll need the money for the new engine.
If you do get a new engine get a stroker kit and bore out the cylinders. It's a good time for that.
We need a lot more info than what you gave us.

i only paid 6k for my 97 rs with only 60,000 miles on it...5k is way too much IMO

I agree 5k is too much. I paid 4500 for my 95 with only 67k on it.
