Hi All,

When I looked at my newly installed AEM CAI on my 95 ESi, I noticed the filter is getting wet when it rains. I don't think that this is going to ruin the filter but due to the filter's placement (right behind a hole in the front bumper), it is completely open to the elements. Is this something to be concerned about?

Thanks,

Mark

There really isnt anything to worry about unless you submerge it in a puddle. If it rains a lot by you and there are deep puddles, get a bypass valve put on it. This would prevent any water from getting into your engine, but I heard rumor that it removes the sound of the intake.
