24939, Idel up 2500 rpm then drops, and back up to2500, over and over... Posted by Othoniel, Jun-09-02 07:40 PM
Hey guys.... Here's my problem. Frist thing my check engine light is on. Checked the codes by on, off, on, off, on..... 36, 13, 25. When I start my car it idels and 3000 rmp for less than a minute, then drops and jumps up to 2500 rmp and then drops again and keeps doing that as longs as the car is running. I took it to the dealership and they said to replace the TB and the intake manifold gasket. Did that. I replaced every sensor on the TB, every sensors on the intake, and the O2 sensors. I replace the ECU. The only thing I haven't done is replace the EGR and vacume hoses. I just want to know if anyone might have some helpful info. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong things? Any help with this matter will be greatly appreciated. I am at my wits end and am just about to say screw it and trade it off for a Honda or a VW. lol Thanks..... Othoniel othoniel@attbi.com
BTW 1995 Eclipse RS The only mods i have done are, cold air intake, header, high flow cat, flowmaster muffler.

Definately start with vaccuum, check your lines and connections. From there start looking at sensors, TPS, IAC, MAP.
Una salus victus.
