the head swap would only work if you had a gst or gsx... if that. Or the talon etc. equivient. And They probably made OBDII for a reason...

All the 2GNT's are OBD II rite?

Seems like the 1995 AT 2GNT was OBDI (my car is). 1995 MT and all 1996+ are supposed to be OBDII (but I don't guarantee it). OBDII dataloggers work on all cars (AFAIK). 1995 ECU's seem to be more tolerant of turbo systems...so thats why you might want one of those ECU's.

On Board Diagnostics I or II. You can call it the software that controls your car.

I think ( don't quote me on this) if you need a scanner to retrieve your trouble codes your car is obd II. My car is a 95 MT and it is OBD I.

But a datalogger program, like say pocketlogger will work on both OBD I and II?

Does it say that its "OBDI" anywhere in the engine bay? I used to think all '95's were OBDI, but the electronic tech manual says only AT's were OBDI. And there are some that we consider OBDII, that don't need a scanner to get codes (I think '96-'97 can use the key dance to get codes). So, I don't think the scanner thing is the defining factor.

A mitsu tech told me since my car was manufactured in 1994 it was obd I(I know he is a minion of satan and could be wrong because some 1994's and 1995's were obd II and I do live in Ca ) I think you can look under the hood and see if it says obd II compliant ( mine says that but the hood on my car is not the original one I think its from a 1996 -- little mishap with an a-hole in a 4X4).
