24635, where to get o2 sensor Posted by ecl98pse, Jun-05-02 08:26 AM
i got a CEL that says bank 1 lean. i was told that was the first o2 sensor bad. the EGT reads 1350 and the A/F reads 0.92, but the A/F guage doesn't cycle back and forth all the time any more. So if i need an o2 sensor what kind is good or where can i get one(besides satan)?

I ordered one from Nopi.com and it was at my house in two days, and it plugged right in with the stock harness. (bought one in the past that the harness did not match up and was told to cut and hard wire)
It was like 35 bucks or so.

my harness got cut off somewhere along the line, so i just hardwire em in now, bummer, hehe.. but the nopi one seems to do ok for 45 bucks.

goto a junkyard and cut one out, small enought to fit into any sized pocket undetected.

Uh isn't that stealing? How is that any different from going up to another eclipse in a parking lot and taking their clear corners. Bad karma for something so little.

If you got a 2.0L Non-Turbo, you can go to Autozone and get one for about $45-$50 bucks.
You could also try Pep Boys, O'Reilly, or Big Wheel Rossi.
I have the 2.4L Eclipse Spyder and ordered mine from machv.com for $79.00 (Dealer wanted $250.00 - The 2.4L 4G64 engine uses a different Front & Rear O2 Sensor)
You could also go to nopi.com or do the Junk Yard Thing. LOL
Later, Mike 98 Eclipse Spyder GS

someone stole the left clear corner off my friends teg, that sucked. i'm just pissed at junkyards in general at this point, i got royally screwed the other day, long story. either way i wouldn't pay more than 50$ for an o2. car quest wanted 150$, discount auto parts wanted 100$, and i found a shop local that sold me one for 50$. back when i had a blown o2 that is.
