well, my engine now has hit the 126k mile mark, and i just got my FIRST 60k service done to her.. there was some confusion on my part and the previous owner, and i thought the first 60k had been performed.. guess not.. anyways, got it done at satan, b/c my engine has ALOT of miles on it and i wanted to make sure everything was checked over throughly.. overall, it wasnt too bad.. 670 for everything (tbelt, tensioners, water pump, all fluids, labor) and they put in the cam gears. haha, the way i see it, i saved money b/c i didnt do the first 60k! :P . set the gears: advanced 2 degrees for the intake and retarded 2 degrees for the exhaust. idle is smooth as can be and my car feels fucking great! i do feel more power with the gears! well worth 125bux! now i am set for my next BIG project.. just thought id share my joy :)

ConGrats! i felt the same way once i got my car back from the mitsu dealership. i gunned it, down a straight away. omG did it feel good.

Your timing belt lasted 120k!? that's fukin' amazing! They guy I bought my car from didn't have the 60k done and the belt broke at 68k,oh and does any body now of any important service stuf for around 35k?

Mike, where did you go to have it done for that price. that is pretty cheap. Wonder if they will take my boosted RS for the same thing?

kaiser, i got the work done a alhambra mitsu. they did good work! they originally had the estimate at 830ish, but they worked it down to the 676 mark! if you go there, make sure you ask for the discount on the 60 service (thanks again clay)! also, you should try norco and pomona if you are close.. ive been told they take care of their customers pretty well too.
