im debating between putting the stage 2 kit on my vehicle without changin the pistons and con rods and head and all the internal parts all im askin is there anyone out there who has upgraded to a stage 2? if so please reply with how it affects the vehicle if at all also im wonderin if the kit is any good

You have a lot of reading to do in the things we have seen before section. Their is too much information on this that has already been asked before.

if you read in the "things weve seen before" section you will see many topics on hrc vs star and such. there you will learn that many of us have stg1.stg2,stg3 (well not MANY of us but ya no a handfullor whatever.) an some even have stg 4 and 5. so many people have upgraded. stg 2 does work well with your inernals as long as you dont abuse too much. keep it under 8 psi. but if i was you i would buy stg 1 and get a starion fmic(front mount intercooler)which you can find online or at some junkyards. good luck with whatever you do

About how much psi can you safely run on a stage 1 hrc with a starion fmic and stock internals??

8psi but I wouldnt call any boost "safe"

Any type of forced induction isnt safe

a hahn stage one with an added FMIC (like a starion) is essentially a stage2 setup.

I would still say only 10 psi unless u had heavy duty con rods and upgraded pistons, then u could go with a Super 16G and probably run 15psi or more (?) which by then u would be at a stage 3.

with hahn- stage 1 is 5-7psi, 2 is 8-10 psi.. both are USUALLY ok with stock internals.. dont go past 5-7 without an intercooler.
