I have a 1996 Eclipse with 76000 miles on it, my check engine light recently came on, i did the on-off-on-off-on thing and got error code 12, and 72, but neither of these errors are on the sheet, so i went to autozone where they can check it for free but they told me that my car didnt have the right connector, so I called Satan and he said they could check it for me but it would cost $72. So I'm kind of stuck here, does anyone know what these error codes mean or have any advice for me

I have the same set of codes. THe 12 is nothing, its just telling you that youve disconnected ur battery sometime relatively recently. The other one IM worried about also (72) because since about a day before it came on until now, my car has been driving like a honda, slow. Also, Im taking mine to my warranty place in a couple days to get it checked out... Ill let u know what they told me when I get around to that.

I went to autozone this morning and I guess I got a smarter guy cause he checked it and found error 0420 which he said was nothing, the fuel injectors were dirty or something probably caused by a bad tank of gas, and he said I should just run some fuel injector cleaner through it, so this is probably the same problem that you have.
