23711, Installing Header(s) (Search wasn't working) Posted by BeefGG, May-23-02 10:51 AM My headers should be at my door tommorrow. What all do I need to know about intalling them? I've got the gaskets and a lot of people have told me to be careful about braking bolts.... How hard is this going to be? | |

23712, RE: Installing Header(s) (Search wasn't working) Posted by Corbin, May-23-02 12:53 PM I would expect it to take an afternoon to remove the stock stuff and get the new parts in. Just use alot of WD-40 and let it soak for an hour. Everything should come right out. The cat converter bolts may be a problem. Air tool can help there, if you have them. If you play with the settings in the search, you can get results. Play with the dates and select archived threads. I have trouble with it too; but I can always get it working when I play with the settings. | |
