On my car it was do to the negative cable being loose where it connects to the battery. Posted by SHOGUN98RS, May-27-01 06:28 PM my friend said when he changed pulleys on his mustang that happened too. he said it was due to the pulley lowering the amp. or something like that. he said it will do that for a while till ur motor gets used to it but ill keep ya posted if it doesnt.

First check your alternator belt tension. Then battery, then alternator. Best bet is that it's your altenator belt tension. but it could be the battery too.
