Very easy thing to do. Get a 5/8" deep well socket, preferably a special spark plug socket, as this socket will have a rubber insert to help keep the plug in the socket when you remove and reinstall the plugs. You will need at least a 4" or 5" socket extension to reach into the wells. Twist back and forth the plug wire on each plug, and pull up on it. Use the wrench and remove the plug. Check the gap on the new plugs with a gapping tool. Keep the gap around .040 or .045. Not a necessity, but use some anti sieze compound on the plug threads for ease of removal later on.Start the new plug with your HANDS and socket. Dont use the wrench to start the plug, you won't be able to feel the plug if you happen to cross thread the plug. Be very careful when reinstalling, threads can easily be stripped. Snug up the plugs to tighten, DON'T over tighten, just tighten till you feel the plug seat, then give a good half turn to finish. Re install the plug wire in the pulg well, and feel for the click of the spark plug wire fully going on the spark plug. Repeat for the others, and you are done

Go buy a socket than, it will probably be $2-3, gapping tool maybe $1, and NGK plugs for a few bucks too.

It will be very difficult to get the plugs out without the special socket, as a normal socket will not keep the plug in it while you lift up the socket out of the well. Most any auto store or hardware store will have this socket, not expensive at all really, its worth every penny IMO. You can use a regular socket, and a good way to cheat is to get some black electrical tape and put some on the inside of the socket, getting the sticky side on the inside walls of the socket. This will make the socket size slightly smaller to help hold the plug in it. Any spark plug will do fine, i, as many others use the stock replacement NGK plugs. I pay around 1.50 for each, and are just as good as most plugs out there. Platnum plugs will last a while longer, so its up to you.

but on the mods page, linked ^^, there is a how-to on it...w/torque specs, and extra info...

The reason I got my Bosch plugs are because Downazzdsm told me that thats what he uses and he has the nitrous kit that I would like to have. He said the're good plugs and the're pregapped :thumbsup

But thanks for your help guys, I'm going to get one here in a few hours(I get my wires today and I'm going to change both.) Now how do I get the wires off so I don't have to find out later?

I just put my plugs in an hour ago. All I can say is WOW!!! Mega difference in pickup and rev from idle. My wires should be here in an hour or so. I'm going to throw those on today too.

All plugs come pre-gapped. The problem is the gap can be off due to packaging and shipping. As far as bosch plugs, yea they're pretty good, but I would have stuck with NGK. Glad to hear your pleased!
