Hey everyone,
Finally got my Greddy Evolution Exhaust (Non-Turbo RS/GS 60mm) installed.

Man what a difference. Looks and sounds AWESOME. Nice deep throaty sound - Not too loud at all but loud enough to be noticed.

Installation was a breeze even though I had someone else do it.

Once you remove the two bolts from behind the Catalytic Converter and all the hangers - It's just a matter of replace the stock with the Greddy.

Everything is an exact fit - Only difference is one of the brackets/rod from the exhaust points sideways instead of forward but all you have to do is twist the rubber hanger and it will grab it. That's because it a Spyder GS but everything else is identical.

First I took it to this Muffler Shop called M&M Muffler Shop in Arlington on Coit & Pioneer. Had a bunch of old guys getter Flowmaster exhaust installed on their Pick-Up trucks for $350.00 so I had to wait. They wanted to charge me $75-100 for installation. The owner (A Old Lady) said it will take an hour to hook it up. 1 hour just to unscrew two bolts, one 02 sensor and a bunch of rubber brackets. Then she said closer to $100.00 I said "kiss my ass beeeeiiitch."

I took it to my fellow Vietnamese/Asian shop down the street (Fast Service Auto Maintence & Repair)- though their not a muffler shop (They do oil, engine work, shock, brakes, ect...)they said sure no problem.

Well 30 minutes later and only $30.00 bucks it was done. Man it looks and sound awesome. They even remove the front 02 sensor for me cuz I thought it was bad. (Took two guys and a long-long wrench to loosen it - That alone was worth $30. I tried for an hour before).

I had a CEL on and thought it was the front 02 for sure. (Well it wasn't cuz the CEL still on even after removing the battery to reset the ECU. After I install the Battery and start it up - No CEL but as sson as I turn off the engine and restart it - pop cel comes back on. Help what could it be. The car runs fine. I also changed the Spark plugs (NGK) and the PCV Valve.

But anyways sorry it so long but if you want to get an exhaust - Get the Greddy Evolution Exhaust. It the best sounding exhaust IMO.

cool how much did it cost you and did you notice a biiiigg increase in power,,,, :thumbsup

It costed me $482.92 shipped. Wow - What a difference. There is definitely a increase in HP. The rpm's flows fast and smooth.

What I notived the most was at high speed (High end RPM'S)

For a Non-Turbo it's definately an improvement. More than the CAI system.

And did I mention how Sweet it Sounds.

Yep I love my evo and im glad that you do too. It sounds badass. :thumbsup I got mine for a little more from nopi since they were the only place i could find that had it in stock others would have been 2 months. But yeah man glad you like it. I have pics of mine but id have to email em to you if you wanted them. lemme know

I love mine too... but it SUCKS for road trips. I drove about 2000 miles over the weekend and when I got back my ears were ringing lol. Here is a pic below, kinda far away though.

Mines no that loud on long trips (Freeway speed 70-80 mph)Maybe because I have a Spyder GS (2.4L 4G64 Engine) and yours a 2.0L

It's a nice deep tone. Not bumble bee like. Also because my old muffler (Tenzo Venturi muffler) was really loud on raod trips. I could stand it anymore.

Mine is loud, but its a deep sound not bee-like. The exhaust is loudest right at 3200 rpms which in 5th gear is about 75-80 mph in my car.

I notice this moring that the pipe in the middle of the car rattles a little at idle. Everything is on tight with the rubber brackets.

I guess I can get one of those muffler/exhaust hanger and try to tighten up the exhaust piping a little more. It only rattlers a little when Idle. The only reason I can hear it cus it't right underneath my seat where the exhaust bends before the muffler.

It's still sweet though. I Love it.

Its probably a heat sheild that is rattling against. Mine hasnt ever done it but every car is a little different.

Chowmane, where did you get your exhaust from and how long did it take to get it? I FINALLY got the money saved up for one

I got it from www.optauto.com

$495.00 shipped. They had two left in stock.

I chosed the cheap S/H method which was UPS Ground (5 Days) but somehow they shipped it FedEx Express Air (Took 2 days) - I didn't complain.

Also www.aieonline.com has it for $482.82 shipped but is on back order for 3-4 weeks.

You have my FAVORITE rims. I can't wait to see pics. I don't think anyone on this board has the Fireballs, let alone the Hyper Black (gunmetal like) color. How much did you get em for?
