So, my fuckin tranny went out two days ago and obviously I'll be needing a new one. So... Are they all the same 95 and up?

Yes, they are all the same. The mounting points are the only things that are different between the 420A trannies (neon, avenger, sebring, cloud cars, and 2GNTs). You can use a tranny out of a '95-'99 Eclipse, Sebring,or Avenger 4 cylinder. I got mine for 675 bux, and replaced for free when it exploded after 2 days. The tranny replacement is pretty straightforward, though.

Damn $675 for a tranny. I took my car in under warranty for the synchro and they said they wouldn't touch it until I signed off on $800 in case it wasn't covered under warranty. They should just give me a whole new tranny.

I havent blown a tranny for a good yr but as one who's blown 3 and counting you can find them easily for $500 used and that was a yr ago. All yrs Talon/Eclipse/Avenger/Sebring fit. You can start your search hear http://www.car-part.com

For some reason they sell neon tranny's for alot cheaper. Those were like $300-350 but I didn't want to risk any incompatibility issues.

My tranny crapped on me the other day too so I will probably be starting my search as well, gotta finish pulling it tomorrow and open her up and see whats done first though.
