2317, Questions about underdrive pulley
Posted by nappyjim, May-24-01 06:12 AM
I have seen it that getting a new underdrive pulley is one of the best ways to get more horsepower at a relatively low cost. I was just wondering if I was to get one, are they easy to install, or would it be easier just to take it to a shop. Also, what kind of brands are good.

Great way for power. There are 2 out there that I know of ... AFX udp and the unorthodox udp. I have the unorthodox one (bought it 2 years ago). I'll probably replace it with the AFX one soon though. AFX is lighter and more underdirve than the unorthodox one. So get the AFX one! As for install. Do a search on the board. I haven't done it myself but there has been some posts about it before. I think I paid about $85 for install about 2 years ago. Don't know if that is good or not.
