You DON'T have to mod the head. Just do everything on the main board but that. Vinnie and Armond both have them without modding the head.

Yeah no modification needed. Are they needed? HRC used Mopar Head bolts torqued to spec + 7lbs. They are running a lot of boost on that. So they may not be needed, but they are nice to have.
