They topic pretty much says it all. Here are the list of mods that I'm gettin put in in about a week and a half. What do you guys think I should expect. I have a 97 Automatic however....:

55mm Boreded Throttle Body
AFX 30% UDP

w/ 18's

17's. Auto + 18's + no turbo = slow

16.1

I would be willing to bet my entire bank account that he wont run a 16.1. He is auto and has 18" rims. There is no way unles turboed or spraying that he could get low 16's.

I have to agree with Dave. Not downing on the guy or anything, but the auto tranny in the RS/GS just plain sucks. Expect low 17's if your rollin' on 18's. Put on some 14's or 16's and you could possibly run a high 16.

Guys no need to bash the autos...

Granted the auto is slower on the line than the manual, there is no need to bash em. I have one myself, and I can hang with stick rs/gs as well, especially top end. I agree on the line it sucks, but the TB and UDP will definately help that. The intake will help at higher revs. With 18's though......It's a difficult call.

We work with what we have, if anyone knows this it should be all of us 2gnt people, cuz if we had our way we would all be in the darkside or other faster stock cars.....

Well said. The autos may be slow compared to sticks, but that's how it is with all cars. Just like there are some others cars that are auto yet faster than stick 2gnts. I think you will run anywhere in the 17's. I've seen people run low 17's to high 17's with basic bolt ons. I ran a 17.3 with an intake, exhaust, header. My best is a 17.159 so far. I give up on going for speed though, I don't think any bolt ons besides turbo or nos will get me into the 16's.

Mine: AEM cold air, greddy 4-1, apex'i world sport cat-back, 17" gsx wheels, GSX front calipers and slots and a rear sway bar.

1/4 mile time was 17.653

Another guy with much the same set-up with a five speed was .75-1.00 second quicker.

What do you think my 1/4 mile time would be? I have an AEM cold air intake, Magnaflow exhaust (not cat-back), and I have stock 16" 95gs rims.

I never dogged or downed on the auto Eclipse. I even stated "I'm not downing on the auto". He asked, I gave an honest opinion.

17's .... i ran 17.2 or so w/ aem cold air..... auto=slow

Weezle: Depending on your driving skill, conditions at the track...I'd guess between 16.0-16.5. Assuming you dont have thousands of pounds of stereo and can drive. :D
