2287, ECU Codes Question
Posted by hudy, May-23-01 04:31 PM
I got 3 4 3 5 5. I know 5 5 ends it but I looked up the other numbers and they just don't make sense to me. PLEASE help me. I know my spark plugs need to be changed, could this have anything to do with the codes?

You probably misread it. It is probably a 12,43,55(1 FLASH & 2 FLASH = 12 and not 3 ;) ). It is a common mistake. The 12 is low voltage at battery or been disconnected recently. The 43 is, well - many things and could all be because (as you said) you need a good tune up. The 55 is end of codes.
GOOD LUCK

Yeah 12 is just beginning of codes. 55 is end. Do you tune up, clear the ECU by disconnecting the battery and see if you are fine.

Thanx for your help. I'm getting the tune up today so hopefully it will be over then.
