Has anyone removed there PCV valve and blocked off the intake manifold hole and on the Valve cover hole run to a breather filter or catch can??? Would'nt this eliminate oil out the crank case breather?? I wanna do it but not sure if there are any bad side effects.

Yes that is what you do, plug the intake add a breather on the vc side

i put a "t" fitting right before the pcv vlave and ran a line to my catch can. you can kinda see the "t" in the upper right of this pic
