Okay guys,
If my clutch were slipping, would it tend to do it lower or higher in the rev range??? My car sort of feels like it's got a TINY amount of slip in the clutch at lower RPMs, but this problem dissappears around 3k. Also, if I go WOT I don't notice it at all really. Help?

have you checked the fluid level, my friends was actin up and we filled up the fluid and its good as new. We thought it was the clutch also but nope.

mainly you tell if your clutch is going out when it starts slipping with 5th gear.. then when it starts slipping in 4th gear it's getting really bad.. and won't be long after that, that it'll be toast..
I test drove a car where the clutch couldn't hold the power in 1st gear.. what a POS. hehe. naw.. just had a bad clutch.. but the dealership didn't care, they still wanted to sell me the car with a bad clutch.. i told em to eff off.

try puttin it in second gear, and try to go from there... if it kinda stalls out then your clutch is going bad... if you go its still pretty good

My senselessforce dual friction slipped like a mug, not too noticible till i got a 3'' downpipe, 4'' straight back and cranked up the boost, then it went from "ok" to junk in like 3-4 days. Anytime i would mash the gas, it would catch, then once i would build boost it would just let go and hit rev limiter... that was a junk clutch, lasted not even 5000 miles.

it might be signs of you clutch starting to go.. i had the same problem with gears 1 and 2.. the lower rpms were just not catching and then when it hit around 3k, it would just kick in. needless to say, the guy who installed my clutch didnt have it engage completely and it wore the clutch down very fast. like said above, try and launch the car from 2nd, if it is very laggy.. you prob have some wear on the clutch.. it doesnt mean that its completely gone, i drove on mine till it was ridiculous and had it replaced (at the mechanics costs of course :))

Oh, and one other thing... after I run hard, I.E. rev high, shift, rev high, shift.... I get an odd smell when I stop... the thing is, this smell started happening the DAY I put on my new brakes, with silicone lube on the backs of them.

whoa.. you have an odor? you need to find out what is causing the smell.. the clutch does give off a bad smell if it is "melting" and since you said it happens when you are driving it hard.. then it could be a good sign that your clutch is wearing down.. but, when you put on new brakes, it does have a little smell for a bit, brake dust and wear in.. but they are two different smells.. try and find out which one it is.

if only we had "smell-a-vision" I noticed today that when I put my car in gear there was a slight "clunk" in second..... it is being VERY gingerly driven untill I can check/replenish fluids today.

if the smell smells like burnt popcorn, your clutch = dead or dieing

Side note.. DON"T RUN YOUR CAR HARD AFTER INSTALLING NEW BRAKES PADS/ROTORS. not a good idea.. doesn't wear in right and can fry pades and warp rotors in a big hurry if you run your car hard with new brake equipment.
