I have posted this link like 10 times this month. Since the Neon TB can bolt up to our intake manifold, this should tell you how to do it too.

Nice guide, but I'm someone who knows the basics, and that's about it. I'd need a guide even a bit more detailed than that one, and in decently written sentences ;P I have a little trouble following things like, "you will have to seal the hole on the manifold the little one."

No no no I haven't done this. It was Talon95stang that did it. I haven't seen him on in a while. I have other things to do first. ;-)

trust me. It is easy, and works good as hell.
It even took my engine light off.

Im in the process of doing mine right now, picked a TB up for 25$, and picked another stock one for an eclipse just in case, because I have a serious habit of screwing everything up. Im just about done, all that I have remaining is grinding a bit of material away, and setting the butterfly valve into place. I went into this project expecting it to be difficult, but I gotta say it is one of the easiest things I have done. All it takes is a dremel, and alot of extra cutting blades for it. Anybody here have a bored out T/B, or the jeep one, if so please let me know how much improvement can be felt, so that I kwo what to expect when I do finish it tommorrow. Im really happy, because for 50$ and about two hours, Im accomplishing the same thing as sending it away for a couple hundred and a week downtime. Peace

Bump, Yea, How is it compared to a 55mm bored TB? (since Howell said it is possible to overbore.

22643, RE: Jeep 60mm TB? Posted by NAEclipseMatt, Jun-03-02 03:55 PM
I dont know how it is compared to 55, but compared to my stock, I have no clue whatit is, I felt a HUGE power increase, after I put 16s on my car from my stock 14s, the pull had left her quite a bit. This brought all that pull and power back to it. I was very happy for the day I had it in, then a screw went in my engine, I wasnt happy with the performance nemore, now all it does is sit there, with no intake manifold on it, and soon to be no head... I woudlnt reccomend putting screws into your tb, not a good idea

You really felt that much power from it? hmmm... bet this would work really good for turbo applications.. yeah?

Where did you pick up that TB for $25? Junkyard or what?
