Hey I'm really paranoid when it comes to my car having something wrong with it (the scary thing is I'll have a turbo soon, eeek!) and today after running the car a bit I looked under the hood and I placed my hand about 3 inches away from the top of the engine and I felt puffs of air coming out. Is that normal or will I have to add that to the rest of the things I need fixed during my 60k service?

come on, your gonna have to explain better than that. exactly where etc.. there is air moving all around in there from heat rising etc..

I had my hand a couple inches from the valve cover. I thought maybe I have a gasket going or something and I was leaking air, but I just checked it a couple minutes ago again and I felt nothing. I'm paranoid because of the turbo but shouldn't I be? Better safe than sorry. Next stop...hell, I'm going to Satan for the 60k.

Probably air from your radiator fans. I get that all the time when i'm checking for exhaust leaks and the fans are running..

Yeah I was poking around the engine while it was running trying not to burn myself and those radiator fans you just mentioned turned on and scared the shit out of me and I hit my head on the hood...yes I know I'm talented.

yup radiator fan, I wish it was off sum times, If ur CEL isnt not on and the engine isnt makin n e funny sounds ur r fine. BTW, if ur goin turbo check ur compresion, if its bad, your turbo will make ur engine do silly things

Yeah I'm checking the compression when I get the 60k done because I'm too lazy to do it myself.
