I've a 95 Eclipse RS and when you rev it it sounds like a metal wheel on a ryder wagon grinding I'm guessing its the flywheel loose (the higher you rev it the worse that it gets) any suggestions on how to fix it and what it should cost to fix it(and what is secondary pulse air system and how do you fix that ) Thanks CJ

The grinding noise is probably a pulley. Check the pullies on your accessory belts first, and if they look/sound okay, start suspecting your timing belt tensioner pully / idler pulley / water pump. if the flywheel is loose, you won't hear it at all (until it flys off).

The noise is coming from the right side of the bottom of the engine and it sounds more or less like a band saw blade that just fell off and is free spining

Ah.. could be noisy tranny gears or a spun bottom end bearing. What kind of fluid do you have in your transmission?
My advice would be to buy a mechanic's stethescope and use it to pinpoint exactly where the noise is comming from: transmission, clutch housing, or bottom end.
I still don't think it's your flywheel.. because these car's don't have a flywheel.

Could be the starter gear not disengaging all the way and grinding on the flywheel.

My caqr makes a similar noise in the morning when you first start it and then rev it up, even after a minute or so it still does it.It goes away after a couple of minutes though.
