How much of a power gain would you get from just rebuilding the engine with the howell rebuild kit? I'm gonna be doing it in the fall and was curious. Also, after your done, how big of a shot of Nos could it take? Thanks

power gain will depend on the compression ratio. if you do all the support mods the engine could probably handle a 400 shot or so. maybe a little less with eagle rods.

Wow, that's alot of Nos. Could you get 200 hp outa just the engine you think?

with 12.5:1 compression, good cams, port and polish/ 3 angle valve job, s-afc. and you would be around there. although no one that i know of has dont it yet.
