i'm ordering my gaskets and need to know if the headgasket comes with the upper gasket kit from mitsubishi? and is it the new mls (or whatever) headgasket?

No it doesn't you need the whole upper gasket set.

cam seals should come with upper gasket set.
Valve cover, spark plug holes, intake manifold(2), exhaust manifold, cam seals, TB
