What do you guys think. I'm getting a pacesetter catback but do you guys think I should replace the muffler with a different one and just keep the piping. I dont know, what do u guys think...and if so what muffler would you guys reccommend that would be really nice sounding and if know places online where I can get it that would great...thanks.

With the Pacesetter your car will sound like a honda! I don't know it's up to you really.

If you want a sleeper that sounds kinda funny keep the Pacesetter.

A warning b4 you order- That black coating will burn off the piping next to the cat. It smells like crap dude.

As for changing the muffler-Haven't hit that step yet. Sorry!

I don't see the need to change it. I'm really happy with mine, I love the way it sounds with my Injen air intake anywhere over 4K rpms. It's really personal preference, since you're asking you're going to get a lot of opinions.

I have a Pacesetter cat-back w/ an OBX B5 muffler on it. And yea, for the first 1-2 weeks your car will smell bad due to some of the paint melting off of the piping. I chose to get the B5 muffler attached for 2 reasons. 1) I didn't like the way the Pacesetter Muffler looked.. 2) The Pacesetter muffler is not straight thru muffler, and my OBX is. It's up to you though. It doesn't sound THAT bad, but another muffler will make it sound better.

I have yet to hear my Pacesetter sound like a honduh....it seems to have a nice low tone to it at any rpm.....yeah the tip could use some work but over all for the price it's not bad.

will the pacesetter give any performance help?
im running a weapon R intake - and looking to get the pacesetter - will it give me any x-tra horses??? or performance at all???

Well, I did cut the tip off. The tips resinated so that might also be causing it. (Honda sound)

I felt a slight gain in mid to high revs. Not much to chear about but hey thats what it's like making NA power. One step at a time.
