221, For all of you guys with a header.... Posted by Strauss, Apr-05-01 02:01 AM
I have a quick question for you guys. What kind of change in sound did you notice and with what brand header? Specifically, I'm getting the brospeed, so if Stan or Todd could post on this it would be very appreciated! Thanks guys!

Can't say I have any experience with Brospeed but I have a nice sounding engine. I had the cat-back and intake when I bought my Hotshot header and it made the exhaust growl a little more. I enjoy it. One other thing I don't know if the quality of sound differs from 4-1 as opposed to 4-2-1. In a way I guess it could but I am not for certian.

What RPM range your hotshot gives the most noticable power(pull). Thinking of buying a hot shot and selling my Pace setter. Thanks for your info.
Ie Power pull for my pace setter is in 3-6K range. Sounds like a Honda Motor bike w/Low rumble sound.

Greddy header has a nice metallic hollow sound gives it a crazy rumble at rev limit

I really didn't notice that much of a difference in the sound with the brospeed, it sounded a little bit deeper and "sportier" but it wasn't major, at least I didn't think so.
