I just rebuilt my engine, i had made sure there was oil in the filter, coolant, etc. Turned my car over w/o Injectors Harnesses plugged in *(to get oil pumping through the engine), then plugged in Injectors, First Start up in 2 months, Starts right up perfect idle, smooth sounding, everything running smoothly, THEN...
turned car off put tires back on, front bumper, headlights, etc.. Car Didn't turn over, found that the ground to Altenator was off, I must have Ran and killed my battery, Connected my altenator ground, tried jumping my car, now shit is blinking, the lights are flickering, Sometimes NOTHING happens, My gauges won't even light up, sometimes they will. Got another working fully charged battery, car sounds like it almost turns over, then Nothing,
- There is also a clicking that comes from right behind my stereo now, that keeps going after my ignition IS Off...
stops everytime i hit the brake or pwr window switch... other than that keeps ticking, Stops when i turn key forward and put it something other than Park, what is going on, can someone help please..
-ONly thing i can think is maybe it was running off of the gas in the line, and now it's not getting gas, cuz it's NOT turning over,
so how do i check to see if i'm getting gas to my injectors, i made sure the plugs are back in them.. what should i do now???

Are both of your battery cables hooked up nice and tight? sounds like something is loose somehwere

Thats what it sounds like to me too, and the they are both tight as they can go, i even cleaned them out with wire brush...HOw do i know if the car is getting gas is my problem, if it is, then i can go on to electrical stuff, but i want to make sure the there's gas gettin to the injectors, I was told to just pull a plug and see if it's "wet"
What does this mean?

I think my next option is to check:
Spark from Plugs
Altenator Fuse
Get new Terminals
Check the Voltage on some sensors

I did check my ALT fuse.. OK
Checked my plugs to see if they are wet "gas on them".. YES there is
- does this mean i'm not getting a spark?
Checked my terminals again.. Looked kinda loose under the metal fitting after i took the rubber and tape off, so buying new ones tomm.

Still cant solve: the clicking/ticking behind my Stereo and HVAC Panel after the ignition is off, real fast clicking sound, only stops when you hit brakes or anything with battery, lights/pwr window switch.

It's definitely a power problem. The ticking is normal with a dead battery or alternator. Happened to me once and I had to get my battery terminals. The old ones looked fine but they didn't work. Good luck...

There was a clicking noise bothering the hell out of me when my battery died. But then i realized it's the power locks trying to lock but not enough power to lock them.

Power Locks....hmmm interesting.. best idea i've heard yet: It sounded like something like that trying to click over.. just couldnt' do it... maybe that is it..
New Terminals are def. goin on tomm.
and i gotta figure out why i might not be gettin a spark.. if thats the case...

I thought the pwr failure at first was due to the fact that i got a new UDP (Unorthodox) and maybe it wasn't turning the Alt. Fast enough

check plugs, check wires, check the battar harness, check alternator that might be bad?! check to see if you have gas, if it turns over check to see if you have compression

Ok i get spark, a good one at that...So what else could it be now?
The Gas? Not gettin gas... The plugs were wet...Could there be water in the gas from Condesation or anything like that from sitting for 2.5 months, Enough to make it dilluted.

My Spark plugs are very black now, They have alot of carbon build up on them, and they were clean when i put them in, would all this not starting and just cranking do that?

Another thing to check is the ground cable at the battery. Follow it form the battery terminal to where it bolts onto the strut tower. Make sure this is tight and clean. This is the main ground point for the chassis of the car....

I added a Unortho UDP and bored out my TB to 55 and portmatched my intake.. only mods i did during rebuild.

I tried lettin the battery charge for like 15 min and then jumped it still nothing.. sounds like it wants to turn over just wont..
Checked starter Ground, fine, checked Ground to Chassis looked good too..

I don't understand why it would have started perfect on 1st Start and ran and that was with the ALTENATOR Ground OFF.. we left it off by mistake, but car started and sounded beautiful.... Now tried with it connnected and Disconnected and Nothing will not start, Keeps trying to turn over till the batt. dies out..and everything fades out...gets weaker and weaker, even while trying to jump it...
i think with the alt ground off, i killed the bat. but It still should start with a jump... and i changed nothing from First Start till now.. except the Alt Ground, but i tried it on and Off.. Could the Batt. just be too dead? But wouldn't it atleast start with a jump..i even tried the bat. out of another car..with more CCA

when you replaced the engine did you disconnect the fuel pump. Check this first, clean off plugs. also to check for spark pull off one of your plug wires, have someone turn over the engine. place the plug wire near a metel part of the frame. if you see a spark your all good. If not check your plug wire connections, coil pack, all electrical connections.

If all the other stuff checks out maybe check your starter relay.
