I am now looking into getting one of these. I know that the LSD allows both wheels to spin when you launch preventing wheel hop and allowing more power to the ground, Right? So will my hp be higher to the wheels as a result from this? I am also planning on going turbo this summer and dont want to spin like hell off the line and what not. But if I don't go turbo would this still be a wise investment? Also would I be able to rev to a lil higher RPM range when I launch? And the final q would be where do I get one and how much? I have read other posts on here before about it but cannot find them with the search now. Thanks guys,

RRE for 1175 + a bunch of dealer parts for the install, about 1400 said and done i'd say.. Traction is better, torque steer is better, wheel hop hasnt been present yet, but I am still not dogging it too bad, coming off the clutch break in... Its definately worth it and a MUST for high hp, but if you plan to stay NA or stay around stage 1-2 range, you might look into doing a conversion on your stock lsd, we are finishing them up right now, stay away from the phantom grip, they have excessive spring pressures, and not adequate contact area.

Forget drag racing. The difference in cornering itself is amazing regardless of power level. Once you go limited slip you never go back. It amazes me they even consider selling performance cars without any type of limited slip. The shame of the money counters at car companies.
Oh, other thoughts are the same as Brad's for me. I am 100% satisfied and I have lots of traction. Of course I will know more if I can get it sorted out for 18-20psi pump gas thursday and for 25psi race gas on the track Friday. Hopefully I shall know more.

Thanks for the info guys.:thumbsup Yeah I was wondering how they handle cornering as I aslo want to start autoxing this summer. So it would be a good mod when I go possibly stage II with prolly the howell bottom end kit. This means im gonna really have to start saving and not spend a dime all summer.;) Also to Super20G about that conversion, How is that gonna work and how much will this conversion be? Thanks,

We havent structured the pricing yet, we are still testing the fitment of the units right now, it wont be long before 2 eclipses will be testing them out, kyle, fast420a is one of them, it is looking very promising compared to our other alternative, the phantom grip, I will post more information as the project progresses, expect the website up and info posted before too aweful long.

So you want it for drag racing eh? Well why don't you just get a phantom grip then. It's only good for straight line driving. LSD is for taking the corners dude :)
