You said you had to use .060 shims on your cams. How aggresive or a grind did you get, and did you have to use .060 on intake and exhaust?
i put in .030 shimd I & E and i still have bad ticking. also the rollers on the exhaust side are a bit loose, meaning i can wiggle them with my fingers, and thats with the .030 shims in. The ones on the intake side are nice and tight. should i go with .060 on the exhaust side? Sorry to ask so many Q's, im still a bit (okay a lot) cam ignorant. thanks for the help

I didn't have ANY specs on my grinds since I bought them used and I never measured them against the stock cams, I guess I should have. :) I used .060 on the intake and exhaust but it is possible that you may only need larger shims on one or the other due to a less aggressive grind on one cam compared to another.
