Hey does this thing help at all. I guess it replaces the little hose that goes from the valve cover to the intake pipe? Any thought of air flow increase?

I have two on mine one on the pipe that goes from the valve conver to my intake tube an done after my PCV valve, capping off the intake manifold. What they do is keep oil from entering the intake track. Keep sthe intake tube cleaner. The manifold is still dirtied by the EGR system. But as far as real HP numbers, nothing really significant.

Now, I know you said u have one on the intake hole? Or is it on the valve cover? Where is the other one at again...on which PCV valve?

i capped off the small hole in my intake, from the exhaust manifold. i then ran th hose from the exhaust manifold straight down to the bottom of the car and let it blow that oil and crap in the atmosphere. i didnt want any oily residue building up in my pipe, and it will, in the long run, keep your throttle body a little cleaner.

Sorry replied pre coffee this morning. Yes I put the filter on the valve cover side and capped off the intake tube. I also capped off tehe intake manifold and put a filter after the PCV valve.

teatinger, can you gove better description of what you did? coming off the exhaust manifold? Did you do something with the EGR system to vent that Exhaust gas into the atmosphere? Thanks

sorry, i think i put in the wrong part. i vented the valve cover outlet, not the exhaust manifold. more detailed, i took the plug from my gas can(a small rubber stopper for the nozzle) and plugged the hole in the intake pipe. the plug fits perfect, nice and snug. i then took a peice of vacuum hose, and put it on the outlet on the valve cover. ran that under the pipe, to the corner of the firewall, where the fender meets the firewall, and zip tied it to some of the wiring and ran it all the way down to the bottom of the car. the hose vents right behind the wheel well cover. hope this clears it up.

Yeah, thanks. I thought you did somethign with the EGR system I was interested in. for my valve covber breathers they just sit close to the outlets.
