Ok engine guys I am going to get a loan to totaly rebuild my engine. I want to know which is better for our cars, the Crower cams and springs or the Crane cams and springs? The Crane cams are cheap threw Howell but is their a cheaper place to get them? Also when I get the Howell bottom end kit should I get JE rings instead of the total seals? I mainly want to know which is better Crower or Crane?
P.S. I am on a time crunch going to see about a loan tomarrow.

I didnt' even know crower made billet cams for our car yet.......OR springs. I knew they were "working on it" Correct me if I am wrong.

Yeah they make them I saw them on their web sight www.crower.com yesterday. They only had price listings for the turbo eclipse cams and not ours. So if they are new then no one will really know how good the crower ones are then? So I guess the crane ones are the way to go.

Crowers are supposed to be ready within like 1 - 2 months.


Crane had their's advertised for about a year before they were ready, they were just completed like a month or two ago.

Crower managed to get cams done in about four months, where crane couldn't fix their cams in the same amount of time. I sent my cams to Crower to make billets off of in January and they should be ready and avalable shortly. Crowers as of last week was re-tooling the machines to run the billet cams. I'll have more info for you bnext week after I talk to Crower
