I got everything done i could do for now, checked all the fluid levels, and tried to start her. The engine turns over fine, but it wont catch at all, i have tried many times and each time it wont even try to catch for even a second... I have oil pressure, 30psi while cranking, i have fuel pressure, 40psi in the rail while cranking, and i have spark, i took the plug wires out, put some old plugs in them cranked it and they spark... i am miffed now, i dunno whats wrong or could be wrong. I was thinking maby there is pressure in the rail but the injectors might not be opening up? or maby when i reinstalled the fuel rail, i put the injectors in backwards(in wrong wiring order), btw, remember i have the Accel DFI)? where do you think i should go from here?

Are the plugs getting wet? If not, bump up your cranking fuel pulse width. If the plugs are wet, drop the cranking fuel pw down. I trust you have compression??? If you have spark, compression (at the right time - double check the cam timing), fuel is the only thing left. The DFI harness is plugged in right? (did this myself). Hope something here helps.

Yes... soaked...

I didnt mess with any of that, so i sould have compression, but havent checked yet... the cam timing a reset to 0 deg on both gears for the time being, still no dice...

the dfi is plugged in, i checked calmap and all the files are still there and the same as before, i reloaded with my defaults just to make sure, still no dice... I will spend more time on it tomorrow, its getting late tonight. I'm sure it will turn out to be something silly...

If the plugs are getting soaked, check your tps voltage. Should be .5 volts with the key on - engine off. If it it out of range, the DFI will be adding fuel like you're accelerating instead of trying to start. I actually have a couple of extra sets of spark plugs in case mine floods. It is very difficult to get it running again for some reason. When mine floods I do the following:

Pull the plugs
Disconnect the injector harness
Turn the engine over several times to get the extra fuel out
Let the car sit for a 1/2 hour or so (with the plugs still out)
Put in the plugs
Cross my fingers.

What did you just finish doing to the car mod wise?
