i just won a header auction on ebay loko at it and tell me what you think...http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1820983997
it look identical to greddy just not the name!?!? - it is as easy as i think it is unbolt - bolt back on with n/gasket?

well the install isnt simple.. its kinda a pain.

took a few hours

getting the 02 sensor out the first time is a pain. plus the car was hot

its pretty look and do.. not to bad

you can use the stock gasket for the top part, and the one on the car and the dp

but where the header connects cuz its 2 pieces i guess make sure you get a good metal gasket..

Man headers are pretty easy to install. The only problem I had was when it came to where the flex pipe connected to the cat, the bolts where all rusted. It's just time consuming, but easy if you know how to turn a wrench.

it is funny they claim it's a 4-2-1 header.. when it's a pretty standard 4-1 header. still nice looking though.. except I dont know why they'd put the nice big pipe on there for the collector and then the other peice (with the flex section) is mucho smaller. so a small bottle neck there.. but easily upgradable if you wanted to push some big power.

keep in mine it looks nice now.. but once it gets heated up it shall turn a nice ranbowyyy purple yellow and blue

though i heard it wont if you never touch the header with you skin or spray wd40 on it..

the oil in our skin makes the ranbow. but mine turned dark in one day

dont use wrap..
you will trap moisture in there..

here is what the 'blueing' Evan is refering to looks like.. this is a pic of my motorcycle.

keep in mind my bike is running lean cause the guy who put the pipes on didn't put a big enough jet in on the carb (running lean = hotter exhaust, to some extent).. so this is kinda extreme. But I don't mind the look at all.
Anybody know of some good cheap stuff to get it off though?

so i shouldnt use any kind of thermal wrap or a blanket or anything to trap heat?

Heh, Im really surprised you guys didn't pick up on this. Look very carefully at the 3rd picture. Specifically the bend in outer pipe. Notice how it digs in a little at the bend? A classic marking of a press bent pipe. Crap IMHO.

hehe.. your header doesn't get nearly as hot as mine, either that or you clean it alot ;)

anyway, i was looking at the those bends.. and they aren't great.. but they are far better then a standard pressbend. like the ones with the major wrinkles and shit.. those suck ass.
