Ok so I was "drifting" around last week, and all the sudden I hear a belt squeeling. So I stop and take a look and lo and behold, both the motor mount and the powersteering bracket are broken!
Not to mention I found an oil leak on my valve cover that was draining down into my timing belt area.

damn dude.. that's pretty crazy.

I broke my Drivers side tranny mount :( I guess it's all apart of the game.

That sucks

One time my PS pulley gouged a big frown in my coolant tank. I guess I really should fix that...but I wonder if the stock motor mounts are just not good enough to hold the engine in place when we "drift". There's barely any clearance from the front of the motor to the frame - you'd think that they would account for that.

i'd try and seeif the dealer will fix it for free, cause thats a defect. No way are those susposed to be wear items and go out..

just don't tell them you were 'drifting' hehe. cause that's really hard on the all the suspension, including the motor mounts. and they'll be like.. well you are supposed to do that, give us a crap load of cash and we'll gladly fix it for ya.. ;) hehe.
