2051, Header question Posted by CoBen67, May-18-01 04:30 PM
I installed my headers this week and love the noticeable power increase. BUT the new headers do not have a flex section like the stock pipe does....Is this something that I should get put in again or dosent it matter?
Thanks

mine doesnt have a flex pipe but it has a goofy ball/spring joint which works as the flex joint but it sounds like ass so im gonna buy a real one and have it put in. yours may have that goofy joint. if it does then that is your flex joint...if not i would get one put in. headers have to give when the engine revs.
