i have a 95 rs with an auto trans and i am wanting to put a torque converter and shift kit on it. does anyone know where i can find either one of these.

thanx for the site. thats just what i was looking for. have you ever taken an automatic out of an eclipse? i am thinking of doing it my self, is it very difficult? any good instructions on the web?

It's not hard, but if you've never dropped a tranny on a FWD car it may be difficult for you. Here's basically what's involved:

1 Remove battery and tray
2 Remove Intake
3 Drain the tansaxle fluid
4 Remove engine undercover
5 Disconnect control cable
6 Remove dipstick assembly
7 Remove starter
8 Detach output speed sensor, range switch, solenoid and pressure switch, input speed sensor.
9 Remove mounting bolts
10 Remove mounting bracket nuts
11 Disconnect AT oil cooler lines
12 Detach tie-rod end, stabilizer link.
13 Remove damper fork
14 Detach lower ball joints & Disconnect driveshaft
15 Remove center member, front & rear plates
16 Remove torque converter bolts
17 Remove remaining bolts

That's about it... not too bad but set aside an entire day to do it.
