20439, Short ram safe to drive when raining? Posted by lap561, Apr-16-02 03:58 AM
I got the intake about a month ago and it's been raining quite a bit lately here in FL. I've taken out the entire stock air box, and to me, the cone filter looks so wide open for splashes from underneath. Am I worrying too much?
My car is also lowered with sportlines. Dunno if that means anything.

Unless you are driving without a hood your short ram is safe.

You would have to be in a puddle deep enough to get to the hood before you have to worry.
