19920, Programable Computers - Cost vs Benefits Posted by Joshua97478, Apr-11-02 04:50 AM Anyone out there have a programmable computer or standalone engine management? I know that they are quite expensive,(around $1000+), but in terms of usefulness, tunability and engine management, are they really worth the money? Once you have everything build strong and the stock ECu can't adjust for it. It's time for a standalone. I know for me it's a ways away. If you get to the end of a high compression NA rebuild or a high end big injector, build internal turbo set up, I say it's time for a stand alone. Before that, the money could probably be spend better elsewhere | |
