I had the UDP ,cams and 5 zigen rear section installed during the spring break(two weeks be4) and I was quite satisfied with the result. However, I notice that the car pull not that hard now compare with two weeks be4, I think it happened after I filled the gas(92 Sunacco), any idea what happened?

I'm almost certain this is it. The car isn't any slower, you just got used to it. So mod it some more :-)

When I did my first mod, my car felt faster and then a week later it felt slow again. Its all in the mind and how you get used to your car. A TT Supra owner probably feels a GSX is slow but a Honda Civic DX owner probably feels that a GSX is oh so fast. Its all about what your used to.

Yes, for sure. Any new mod will make you think you're faster, even if it makes no difference (sometimes psychological). But after a while, you get used to it, so you don't feel faster.

I would say you probably got used to it but check out those cam gears since that's the last mod you did. Maybe it IS slower. Just my 2 cents...

Just see if they're holding the settings that you set them up. For example, if your I/E settings are -2/2... make sure that's what they're still set at. I see you have the Fidanza gears which use 5 locking studs, so you probably just got used to the new mods. :) Time to dig a little deeper for more mods!

Its possible to get desensatized to the feel of the engine, its sort of like turning off you radio at a cetrain volume when you park your car, then when you come back and turn it on the radio feels like its blasting.

To be honest, your ass will never be as good an indicator of power gained or lost as much as a dyno. If you've got runs from before you did this mod, go the the track and test it out. Get a before and after to assess the problem. If the track is too far, and you feel you really have lost a considerable amount of power, go pay $65 and get some dyno runs done.

Maybe the ECU learned about the new cams?

I probably have no idea what I'm talking about... but I have noticed that my car is way more powerful after my girlfriend has been driving it. She babies the throttle, and hardly ever revs over 4k RPM.

I've done 0-100 and 1/4 mile road tests before and after, and it is definitely faster. It's like the ECU changes the long term fuel trim for her. After I take over and drive for a few minutes, it goes back to producing less power.
