I used Permatex brand High temperature Copper sealant on the whole thing and it's sealed fine. I do need to change my little spark plug hole gaskets since one is leaking so I'll use some on there too. I got the stuff at pepboys.

I would use the black instead of blue. You get better oil resistance. Make sure to only use a little, if you goop too much on there it won't seal correctly. Also prep the surface area to make sure it's nice and clean.

so i have to use this stuff?? and do i put it on the whole gasket or just the spots that are shown in the mods pages?

i need to know how long i have to wait till i can drive it again cause it says 12-24 hours and i just can't do that between work and school. so how long is long enough?

I coated mine and then drove after 1 hour and it's not leaking so I'm good. Of course with how often my VC comes off I can't afford to buy gaskets all the time so I reuse then many times over and just coat the crap out of it with the Ultra copper RTV sealant.

I just used the sealant to tack the gasket to the valve cover, and then I put a very thin layer on the head where it meets the gasket.

i didnt use it... my reason: being that it will make it uneven and may cause it to leak more then with it on somewhere else you dont have to use it...
