I need to get an EGT gauge.
I want the autometer phantom one.
I saw a couple of diff ones, which one do I need.........(part numbers maybe)

Where is the best place to order one and how do i get the probe?

ok I just recieved my EGT gauge tommorow (yep UPS came and I guess I didn't hear them ring the door bell) and I ordered it from Turbotrix. They sell Autometer Pyromteres in three different styles (I got a phantom :) ) for 130. It's a kit that comes with the probe as well.

which of the 3 autometer groups(ultralight, sport compact, phantom) have a good match to the stock amber gauges when lit? also, do all of the "temp" sensing type gauges from turbotrix come w. the probes? is it a westach(sp?) probe? where do most of you guys get your gauges from and what brand do most of you have? i'm ordering turbo stuff now, and am trying to sort out all the guages to get.

I think most of em get it from summit, but I don't see jack on their online catalogue and it's so confusing order stuff from them.

Yes they all come with a probe, notice all the prices for each style gauge are the same. It's a kit dude. No it's not a westach probe beacuse autometer makes it so I would think it's a autometer probe/clamp thingie majiggy.

Stock gauges? Well I'll tell you this my SPI white face black bezel boost gauge lights up freakin orange at night not white. My Phantom AF ratio gauge don't light up though so I can't really tell but I have a turbo magazine with how the gagues light up in it and the autometer gauges light up similar to the SPI.

I got autometer EGT gauge. There good and all but I think its worth it spending some more $ and getting a GReddy cause they have a peak hold and display or something like that. Im sure someone on here has it and my friends that do, love it.

Just got my EGT gauge, comes in a nice fat Autometer box. I mounted and tapped the wires I need for it but I still need to tap manifold. The gauge is pretty nice, for some reason it doesn't light up as bright as my SPI gauge oh well go figure. It'll do for now :P
