I heard that it helps low end very much, is it worths the bucks and what brand is good for our car?

ya..fuel pressure regulator. I am not sure but I have heard that u can adjust the fuel and make the pick up faster and improve the low end and increase hp, correct me if I am wrong.

from my understanding we run rich stock. so why would you want to add more fuel? i think only turbo/nos guys would need to get a fpr

Well i'm pretty sure a FPR *could* be used to lower fuel pressure... my HRC one can lower the idle press. down to about 15-20psi (right about where the engine dies). You'd have to remove the stock FPR. A lower idle fuel press might give you a leaner running car?

This is probably less useful than using an SAFC on a non-turbo tho.

What is stock fuel pressure, I've had my car apart so long I don't even remember what my FP gauge read. You wouldn't be able to lower fuel pressure below stock (on the late model fuel systems in particular), without stock FPR modifications, would you?

Messing with the fuel pressures by a few psi doesn't have much of an affect unless you are going WOT or close to it. This is all in my tech pages, but for throttle positions under around 80%, the ECU controls fuel flow. If you up the pressure, it lowers pulse width. If you lower the pressure, it raises pulse width. It reads the oxygen sensor and adjusts fuel flow how it wants.
