19539, anyone with a programmable DIS2 ever use a PDA for programming. Posted by jamesman, Apr-06-02 04:38 PM
Anyone know if the software for the DIS-2 Programmable can be run on a PDA running windows CE? I am going to get the DIS2 but i do not have a laptop yet, i would think it would be really cool if you could program it on a PDA. thanks james

Most likely the programming software will not be made for windows ce, so I'm guessing it most likely won't work. You're in socal right? I just picked up a laptop for 80 bucks, it's an old pentium 166, but good enough for data logging and running win98. I think she had more so let me know if you need her info.

I don't think you can datalog a 95. I may be wrong though. For OBD2 we just have a direct plug to plug into. I don't think OBD1 has those diagnostics available directly. Check out TMO's site to see if they have anything.

well i have 2 plugs in my car that look like printer ports i think that is where the datalogger would go in, i have a 95 also, i'm not sure that is the case, but my main reason for the laptop will be to program the DIS-2 latess james
