Sombody was saying that if you buy the LUCAS power steering conditioner it will quiet it down a lot (the power steering) Any truth in this? Mine whines like a bitch especially at high rpm's and I am getting tired of it.

you have to keep adding it cause that's what i have to do. i check it once a month and add more. you can just drain your whole power steering res. and fill it with lucas

My car, high rpms, I cant hear anything but my exhaust and/or turbo spooling.

My power steering isn't leeking, it's just noisy.What i am trying to ask is , does the lucas stuff quiet it down a lot? Sorry if i didn't make it clear the first post.Thanks in advance.

I had a very noisy PS pump. All i did was top off the fluid to the MAX line (It was in the middle of the MIN and MAX lines) and that really shut it up.

So shoulld i fill it all the way with the LUCAS stuff? How do i drain the ATF that is already in there?
