19432, Which cam gears to get??? Posted by 96venger, Apr-05-02 01:04 PM I am going to buy some Cam gears. Which ones should I get I found the AEM ones for 157 and I can get 10 bucks off of that. But I wanted to know the best ones to get. I also am going to buy a MSD DIS. Should I get the HO or should I go ahead and spend the extra 90 bucks and get the DIS with the boost timing on it??? I want to push like 15-18psi...

Todd, I know you were looking for some, so I think you should get these. It would probably take me longer and maybe even cost a bit more than that to get them for you.
19439, RE: Which cam gears to get??? Posted by toykilla, Apr-07-02 01:34 AM When I put my cam gears on my 97 (before I sold it) I could actually FEEL THE POWER GAIN. I could not feel with with the exhaust, intake or headers. CAM GEARS DID A LOT. I had AEM but when it comes time to buy some cam gears for my 98, im getting unorthadox, I feel AEM is more Honda/Acura parts and I think they might slack off on other cars. It took the mechanic and myself 4 days to get the damn things to work properly.
