I think all they do is look a lot better than that heat shield...but what are so bad about them? You dont get any HP increase??? If I got like full greddy catback and sum greddy headers...that still wouldnt
do anything? Its basically wasting money huh?? Cuz I dont need a full catback (not turbo, stock piping can handle it fine) and the stock headers are fine toO... I think I just answered my question...but what are yur thoughts? ALSO...how much would it cost just to get the heatshield polished?

all u need to polish your heatshield is medium fine steel wool and extra fine steel wool. first start with the madium fine and polish it then use the extra fine to bring out the shine in it

and that will getting it shining like chrome?

i got mine so so shiny that i can see my reflection in it. its not like a mirror but it will do the trick

It in no way shines like chrome, but it does shine up pretty well, and i can see a blurred reflection in it. Looks pretty close to chrome,but not that shiney. It took me a long time to do mine with steel wool, but it was worth it. Your hands will get pretty messy too..

N e way I have pacesetter headers with a flex section welded in. They dont add much HP but they do add more tourque. At least that what I could feel

headers fuck up ur launch. im not getting em. my exhaust already messed my launch up a lil....i got madddd pull in top of 2nd and 3rd tho.

I'm very happy with my header and would not trade them. I didn't notice any loss in power and the butt-dyno feels a pull through the rpm range. It smooths out power, the equal legth runners don't let the exhaust gas pulses from combustion run into each other and slow the exhaust gas leaving. I like headers. It doesn't have to give a peak hp gain to be an effective mod. It can not gain any peak and raise hp throughout the rest of the rpm band and be a very helpful and effective mod.

I noticed a decent gain with my pacesetter header. If you are planning your mods think about the order in which you install them. Here is the order I went:

Intake
springs
Exhaust
header

Looking back I should have gone:

exhaust
intake
header
springs

when I was bone stock it seemed like fewer people wanted to screw with me, but once I put the springs on they thought I had done more than I had, and the intake alone didn't cut it. The exhaust intake and header all compliment each other. I would put the exhaust first because it it the bigest single performance gain (except maybe for UDP which I don't have yet) , the intake second because it allows you to suck in more air and make the exhaust that much better, and then the springs and last but not least the header.
