I was checking out DSM.org a while ago and saw "How to" about replacing two resistors with higher ones or just clipping the original ones in one spot to allow the GS-T and GS-X to go above 130mph. Has anyone here been able to make it over that without having to crack open the computer cause I maxed out at 120 before I got my new rims and tires.

Bedlam, do you have an auto or manual? If auto, ya it pretty much stops accelerating at 120 since it shifts into fourth and has very little power. I think it would take forever to get to 130 on a nonturbo auto. If you're manual, you should have no prob passing 120.

That ECU mod is for GST/TSI ONLY.

i knew that the ECU mod was for the GS-T and GS-X only. I was asking if there was a Speed limiter or anything like that.
Yeah I have an Auto. I haven't experienced fuel cut cause once I over 7000 RPM, and I am in 1st, it shifts on me. I plan on getting the Turbo upgrade and getting a shift kit for it. I like the fact of not having to shift gears and loose boost like all the manuals. While you guys shift, I'll pull ahead cause it's one even flow.
