I have 92,000 mile on my 98' Talon. Is it too late to put nitrous in it. Will it finish off my 420A. I have put nothing but Mobil-1 synthetic oil every 3000 miles with a puralator PURE-1 oil filter, I always run 93 octane too. She runs like new every time. What do you guys think.

to answer your ?, check your compression... above 160 across the board, and you "should" be ok......

i second that. theres really no positive way to know if your car can take it unless you do a comp test. go to a local auto store and buy one there. it comes with instructions. not hard at all takes 10 min. do the test then thatl tell you whats up.

Yeah, do a compression check. Then do a complete tune up. Plugs, wires, fuel filter, all fluids. Make sure she's in tip-top shape and I think you'll be just fine!

AS long as the fuel system and ignition is running perfect, you will be fine. If the motor has been taken care of, a little lower compression will not hurt at all because the ring gap gets a little loser, that allows the engine to better stand the heat created by burning pure oxygen. Heat expands and with a little looser ring, your cyl walls are actually safer.
