18883, Need a new motor.. where sould i go? Posted by eclpsed7, Mar-30-02 12:48 PM
Okie.. here's the deal, I have a `99 Eclipse GS OZ.Sport, for my daily driver. I just bought a 95 GS-T 5-spd for $700, it only needs a new motor. I want to get the JDM one will this bolt in my GS-T w/o having to make my own mounts, etc? Also where is a good place to get it from? You can hit me up on AIM, my screen name is "eclpsed"
Thanks a lot guys...

They say "2.0 DOHC 16V 220 HP Eclipse/DSM engine. Fits 89-94 Eclipse and Talons. Includes engine complete with turbo. Price includes truck freight." Will that go in a 2g?
Thanks..

Junk yard, Well a tocing company down in FL has it. Thay wanted 900 for it. I called and said I would pay 700 shipped from FL to VA. He said he'd ship it to SC for that much. So, me and a friend are going down to SC Wed to pick it up. It needs front panels. It was a repo car, not even wreaked. Clean title everything. All the parts it needs I have lay`n around my shop left over my 99 Eclipse. Other then the Motor witch I need kinda bad hehe.

A 6-bolt 4G63 motor will not bolt directly onto a 2G Turbo. Go to www.magnusmotorsports.com as they have a kit to successfully bolt in a 6-bolt motor without much hassle. Good luck.
